California's farming communities face growing challenges. Our mission is to empower agricultural communities to build resilience and cultivate rural prosperity.
HARVEST California began with a simple observation: California farms must continue feeding the country under increasing water and heat stress while rural communities seek energy capacity for economic growth. Those demands are often presented as competing priorities.
We believe California doesn’t have to choose.
Agrivoltaics offers an opportunity to keep farmland active while adapting to new pressures. Growers and rural communities require trusted information, California-specific examples, and someone in their corner to help evaluate whether agrivoltaics makes sense for their land.
HARVEST California was created to fill that gap.
